"Sailing to San Francisco: Blown Away with Love"

Sailing from Monterrey to San Francisco one day,
I came upon the Golden Gate, which led me to say,
"How do I love thee?"
It isn't the fog that I love,
Not the skyline towering above,
No my instinct wanders back to sea and beyond,
Where Great Whites frolick and pelicans bond,
I lead thee to the froth of swirling mist,
Where the spray of the sea is airborne again.
I must admit my love's for the wind...
